A blast from the past

I recently acquired a copy of Aviation News from 1973, featuring a history of RAF Driffield by local author Arthur Pearcy.

Ironically, the intro bemoans the red tape delaying the disposal of the now-closed airfield and redevelopment - now, nearly four decades on, we're still to see the first new homes built on the site!
